General Information
Gale’s Agro Products will acknowledge all complaints related to defects, delivery of the wrong product or delivery of the incorrect quantity of product. We will accept returns and will issue refunds according to the policies outlined below. We retain the right to refuse a return or a refund where abuse of our “Returns and Refunds” policy is suspected.
Returns and Refunds
Any purchased items other than live poultry that are unused / unopened (purchaser has changed their mind about the purchase decision) can be returned to our store along with the invoice or receipt as proof of purchase. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and will only be accepted once the item is in a similar condition to when it was originally sold. Once the return has been accepted, a full refund equal to the purchase price of the item will be issued.
Items other than live poultry which are found to be defective after opening the package or attempted use, can be returned to our store within 30 days for a full refund. An invoice or receipt will be required as proof of purchase, items that appear to have been tampered with after purchase will not be refunded.
Returns and Refunds – Live Poultry
Live poultry should not be returned to the store after being taken out of its transportation box and placed in a poultry house / cage. The risk of transmitting poultry related diseases from a farm to the hatchery is very high in this situation; all live poultry refunds will be handled through our Online Vet Submission Form.
Export customers experiencing chick mortality on arrival can reasonably expect Gale’s Agro Products to pursue reimbursement on their behalf from the carrier. In cases where the carrier refuses, we may agree to replace the chicks at no additional cost to the purchaser. Neither Gale’s Agro Products nor our carriers will accept liability for additional handling charges incurred at the port of entry.
Delivery Fee Refunds
Delivery fees will only be refunded when every item on that invoice is being returned for a defect or other issue solely due to a mistake on behalf of Gale’s Agro Products. Partial invoice returns will not benefit from a delivery fee refund. Returns due to customer choice will not receive a refund of the delivery fee.
